Japan Convention Bureau (JNTO) appoints global leaders with significant influence in their respective fields, both domestically and internationally, as JNTO Conference Ambassador to promote a better understanding of the importance of hosting international conferences in Japan and to enhance Japan’s presence overseas as a host country for such events.
With Sendai Convention Bureau’s recommendation, Professor Noriko Osumi, Professor Emeritus / Visiting Professor at Tohoku University and Executive Director of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science has been newly appointed and a certificate was presented to her.
The Sendai Convention Bureau will continue to strengthen its collaboration with key figures to attract conventions to Sendai.
