Sendai Convention Bureau exhibited at the 35th International MICE Expo (IME2026), held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Tokyo International Forum.
IME is one of the largest business meeting and trade events in Japan dedicated to conferences, conventions, corporate meetings, incentive tours, and educational trips. This year, 91 organizations from across Japan exhibited, and more than 400 buyers—including international participants—attended the event.
In addition to 15 organizations with whom we had pre-scheduled appointments, we received many inquiries on the day and conducted business meetings with more than 20 organizations in total.
Our bureau will continue our proactive promotional efforts to share the appeal of Sendai with a wider range of buyers and strive to attract even more MICE events in the future.
