A business meeting was held in Tokyo, following last year’s event, where representatives from convention promotion organizations in the six Tohoku prefectures and Niigata Prefecture gathered in one place. At this meeting, information on hosting environments, subsidies and other support measures, and regional characteristics was provided directly to visiting organizers and management organizations.

The Sendai Convention Bureau will continue to strengthen information dissemination and promotional activities for attracting MICE events, in close cooperation with convention promotion organizations in the Tohoku and Niigata regions.
