The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) has released its statistics on international conferences held in 2024.
According to the city-by-city ranking, the number of international conferences hosted was as follows:
Sendai ranked 7th nationwide with 76 conferences.

The Sendai Convention Bureau collects information on international conferences held in the Sendai area each year and reports it to JNTO.
