From Thursday, September 25 to Saturday, September 27, 2025, members of the Sendai Convention Bureau participated in VISIT JAPAN Travel & MICE Mart 2025, Japan’s largest inbound tourism and MICE business meeting, held at Aichi Sky Expo in Aichi Prefecture, central Japan.
The event brought together 323 sellers and 275 buyers from around the world. Representing Sendai as a seller, our bureau held 28 pre-scheduled business meetings and several additional onsite appointments. We promoted Sendai to MICE buyers, travel agencies, and land operators from various countries by sharing tourism information and introducing available support programs and subsidy schemes aimed at attracting meetings and incentive travel.
Moving forward, we will continue to strengthen relationships with international buyers, refine our support systems, and further enhance our efforts to attract MICE events to Sendai.
