On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, the Sendai Convention Bureau participated in the “JNTO Incentive Travel Business Meeting (Korea)” held in Seoul.
The event brought together 20 organizations from Japan as sellers and 36 organizations from Korea as buyers. Our bureau held meetings with 10 local travel agencies, where we shared the latest information about Sendai and listened to buyer’s needs and interests.
The following day, we visited several travel agencies and land operators in Seoul to discuss current trends in the Korean market and to provide information on tourism resources and available subsidy programs.
Through this business trip, we were able to establish new connections with buyers. Building on these new relationships, we will continue active information exchange and strengthen our efforts to attract more incentive travel from Korea.
