On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, the Sendai Convention Bureau participated in the “JNTO Incentive Travel Business Meeting (Thailand)” held in Bangkok, Thailand.
The event brought together 25 organizations from Japan as sellers and 30 Thai companies as buyers. Our bureau conducted meetings with a total of nine companies, during which we shared the latest information about Sendai and introduced our support programs for incentive travel.
In addition, we visited several travel agencies in Bangkok the following day to exchange information and strengthen our partnerships.
With the launch of direct flights between Sendai and Bangkok by Thai AirAsia X scheduled for Monday, December 1, we will make use of the insights gained from this trip to further promote Sendai as an attractive destination for incentive travel from Thailand.
