Attendee comments Vol. 3

新着情報 June 29th, 2018

String-Math 2018 was held at Tohoku University in Sendai from 18th to 23rd June. Among the physicists and mathematicians whom attended the annual event, we spoke to Dr. Wolfgang Lerche from CERN, European Organization for Nuclear Research.

“This was my first visit to Sendai. I stayed close to the train station and had no trouble getting around, including the subway to Hagi Hall, the conference venue. Locals were kind and friendly as well. When I choose my destination for conference participation, I try to go to places that are interesting and has things to offer. Japan is a culturally rich country, a different culture from ours, which certainly makes it attractive to come here.”
